Job Description
1. Roles and Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons
• Grade regular homework assignments
• Prepare and create tests and examinations
• Track and report students’ performance and give feedback
• Teach kindergarten students ages 6-7 speaking, stories, arts and crafts, phonics, reading, and writing
• Teach elementary school students through speaking and writing, reading, grammar, and book discussion classes
2. Candidate Qualifications
• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• F-visa holders
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Have a clean self-medical health check
• Teaching experience preferred
3. Working Conditions
• Student Type: Kindergarten & Elementary
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 1:30 P.M. - 6:30 P.M
• Curriculum & Lesson plans provided
• Training Provided
• Teaching Staff: 1 Native English Teacher
Salary
2,500,000 KRW Monthly
Benefits
• Insured with the 4 National Insurances.
• Severance: upon completion of a one-year contract, severance pay which is equal to one month’s salary is paid to the teacher.
• Vacation: 6 days plus National Korean Holidays. 5 days vacation will be either provided or paid off.
