Job Description

 

Join Korea’s premier academic English program for advanced learners, CDI (Chungdahm Institute) by Creverse. CDI is designed for upper elementary, middle school students with strong English foundations who are preparing for success in global academic settings. As a CDI teacher, you'll lead critical thinking-based lessons, debate sessions, academic writing projects, and TOEFL prep in smart, digital classrooms.

 

CDI classes are fast-paced, content-driven, and challenge students to think, speak, and write like native speakers.

 

1. Responsibilities Overview

 

• Deliver high-level English lessons to advanced elementary and middle school students using CDI’s structured academic curriculum

• Facilitate critical thinking and discussion-based classes, encouraging students to analyze, debate, and express complex ideas clearly in English

• Teach core subjects including academic reading, essay writing, speaking & presentation, and test prep (e.g., TOEFL Junior/iBT)

• Use smart classroom technology (interactive boards, Creverse’s learning portal, digital textbooks) to deliver engaging, tech-integrated instruction

• Assign, evaluate, and provide feedback on writing assignments, vocabulary practice, and reading comprehension tasks

• Monitor student progress and submit reports through CDI’s internal systems

 

2. Requirements

 

• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• F-visa holders
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Must be physically and mentally healthy

 

3. Working Conditions

 

• Student Type: Elementary & Middle 

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 2:00 - 10:00 P.M. (Working hours depend on campus)

• Class Time: 45 minutes per class
• Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided

• Teacher Training: Must pass 1-week training at HQ before the contract starts
