Position Details We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Middle School Mathematics Teacher to inspire our students in courses ranging from on-level Grade 6 math to Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, and Geometry. The ideal candidate will be adept at making math accessible and engaging for all learners. They will be responsible for creating a student-centered classroom that encourages inquiry, problem-solving, and a genuine appreciation for mathematics. Key Responsibilities Instruction: Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned math lessons based on the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) framework. Differentiation: Utilize varied instructional strategies and assessments to meet the diverse needs of middle school learners. Classroom Environment: Foster a positive, respectful, and well-managed classroom culture that motivates students to achieve their full potential. Assessment & Feedback: Regularly assess student progress using formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents. Collaboration: Actively participate in grade-level teams to support curriculum development and student success. Communication: Maintain open and professional communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and curriculum. Community Engagement: Contribute to the life of the school by participating in school events and building positive relationships within the community. Qualifications and Experience Required: A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field. A minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience in a classroom setting. Native or near-native fluency in English. Must hold a valid F-2, F-4, F-5, or F-6 visa or be a Korean national. A clean criminal background check. Preferred: A valid teaching certification/license (e.g., from a U.S. state). A Master’s degree in a relevant field. Experience teaching a U.S.-based curriculum (e.g., Common Core). Experience and ability to also teach Middle School Science is a significant plus. Compensation and Benefits Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and credentials. Enrollment in the Korean National Health Insurance and National Pension plans. Severance pay provided upon completion of a one-year contract. Six weeks of paid vacation (increases to 8 weeks after one year) in addition to most national holidays. Daily lunch provided. Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Available Position We are seeking an energetic and creative Elementary Physical Education Teacher to foster a love of physical activity and healthy living in our youngest learners. The teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering a dynamic PE curriculum for students in grades 1-5. The ideal candidate will be an expert in developing age-appropriate activities that build fundamental motor skills, promote teamwork and sportsmanship, and ensure every child feels successful and included. Key Responsibilities Instruction: Plan and implement a sequential, standards-based physical education curriculum for grades 1-5 that promotes physical literacy and skill development. Differentiation: Adapt activities, games, and equipment to accommodate the diverse skill levels, physical abilities, and needs of all students. Learning Environment: Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment that encourages sportsmanship, cooperation, and maximum participation. Assessment: Assess student development in motor skills, fitness concepts, and sportsmanship using appropriate methods and provide constructive feedback.
