*GATE Special Subject Positions - 2.80 million & up plus housing for applicants who meet the GATE Special subject qualifications or employee can choose the non-housing stipend option and receive 600,000 won on top of your monthly salary listed above (Total- 3.4 million won per month & up)

GATE Special subjects: Art, Science, Social Studies, Creativity, PE and Performance/Drama. 

*PSA Homeroom Positions – 2.70 million won & up plus housing for applicants who meet the PSA HR position qualifications or employee can choose the non-housing stipend option and receive 600,000 won on top of your monthly salary listed above (Total- 3.3 million won per month & up)

*AppleTree caters to pre-kindergarten children, and the ESL teacher rotates between homeroom classes to teach English through songs, activities, and storybooks. If you are interested in Appletree locations, please notify us by email.

YBM PINE Division schools are located mostly in Seoul districts such as Seocho, Daechi, Jamsil, Yongsan, Apgujeong as well as Bundang and Busan.

Minimum qualifications for YBM GATE, PSA and AppleTree positions

*Applicants not in Korea or without one of the following visas E2/D10/F-series visa will need to email over pictures of the following items (Background check with apostille, degree with apostille, passport page).

*Native English Speakers only holding citizenship from USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa with E2/D10/F-series visa status or documents for E2 visa sponsorship.

*F-series visa applicants must have documents for registration with the Korean Education Office.

Working Conditions

Full-Time Positions: Homeroom Teacher for Elementary School Graders 1st – 3rd graders.

Student Levels:  Advanced/Gifted students – learning 2 grade levels above their current school grade/age.

Start Date: March 3rd,2026 first day of prep with full pay.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm working hours (Teachers arrive a little before 8:00am and leave at 4:30 pm)

Teaching load: Less than 19 actual teaching hours per week (21 classes per week at 50 min per class)

Non-teaching related work: can be carried out throughout the week per the non-teaching time table scheduled.

Salary for Homeroom Teacher Positions: 3.20 million won with provided housing by employer or employee can choose the non-housing stipend option and receive 800,000 won on top of your monthly salary listed above 
(Total- 4 million won per month)

Benefits

Within 12 months of employment 5-weeks of vacation plus all Korean National Holiday’s Off (No salary deduction)

There will be 4 session breaks throughout the year per our scheduled vacation dates.

YBM KISA applicants MUST meet the following requirements.

Minimum: Multiple years of relevant experience, along with an English major or substitute teaching license.

Preference: Certified teachers, Education majors, TESOL/TEFL majors with multiple years of experience in Korea.

Visa Requirement: Currently reside in Korea with E-2, D-10, or F-series visa status and able to interview in-person.
