Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
: BC Collegiate Lower Campus is looking for a qualified and professional ESL teacher to teach elementary students (Grades K–5).
1. Responsibilities
- Plan and teach fun and engaging English lessons for elementary students, following the school curriculum.
- Teach basic English skills including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Create a supportive and friendly classroom environment that encourages students to practice and enjoy learning English.
- Communicate clearly with parents about their child’s progress and participation in English activities.
- Join school events, teacher training, and meetings.
- Keep records of student progress, attendance, and participation.
2. Candidate Qualifications
- Fluent in English for teaching and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in TESOL, Education, English, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience, preferably in an international or elementary school.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Passionate about teaching English and working with young children.
- Flexible and able to work well in a multicultural school environment.
- Teaching certificate or relevant credentials preferred but not required.
- Apostilled diploma and criminal background check required.
3. Working Conditions
- Teaching age group: Elementary (Grades K – 5)
- Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Teaching hours: Up to 25 hours per week
- Lunch is provided by the school

Based on a salary scale contingent on years of experience, degrees, certificates and interview Benefits

Insured with the 4 National Insurances.
- Severance: upon completion of a one-year contract, severance pay which is equal to one month’s salary is paid to the teacher. (Minimum 1-year contract completed)
- Vacation: Paid vacations include Winter Break (2 weeks), Spring Break (1 week), Lunar New Year Break (1 week), and Chuseok Break (1 week), in addition to Korean national holidays
