1. Role and Responsibilities

For the afternoon position, it will only be for elementary classes between grades 1st-4th, with 12 students max per class, and the teacher will be teaching a variety of classes amongst multiple grades as a subject teacher. Teachers will have built-in prep time in their schedule daily from 1:30-3:00, and from 3-7:30 will be teachers' available teaching time. The number of classes will vary depending on needs for that semester. However, teachers will always have a set schedule semesterly, meaning teachers will be teaching the same classes on the same days each semester. 

You will be responsible for the following: 

• Teach phonics, pronunciation, and basic reading and writing skills
• Sing, dance, roleplay, and create art with students
• Follow a textbook and syllabus for easy lesson prep
• Add your own activities to help students learn better
• Meet learning goals and track student improvement
• Attend meetings, workshops, and special events required by the institute
• Actively engage students in the learning process
• Recognize the needs of individual students and the entire group 

2. Candidate Qualifications

• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• Hold an F4 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Must be physically and mentally healthy

3. Working Conditions

• Student Type: Elementary
• Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided.
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 1:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M.
• Teaching Hours: 24 classes per week
• Class Time: 40 minutes per class
• Class Size: 12 students per class
• Teacher Training: Provided
• Teaching Staff: 25 Native English Teachers, 23 Korean Teachers
