Roles and Responsibilities BC Collegiate Lower Campus is seeking a highly qualified, organized, and professional candidate to serve as an Elementary Homeroom Teacher, responsible for instructing and guiding students in elementary grades. 1. Responsibilities - Plan and deliver engaging lessons to elementary students, aligned with the school curriculum and academic goals. - Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that supports students' academic, social, and emotional development. - Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to promote individual growth and learning. - Collaborate with subject teachers to integrate various subjects and activities, enhancing the overall learning experience. - Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and school events. - Participate in school events, professional development sessions, and departmental meetings. - Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student portfolios. 2. Candidate Qualifications - Must be currently residing in Korea - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Child Development, or a related field. - Teaching certification (mandatory) - Minimum of 1 year teaching experience, preferably in an international or elementary school setting. - Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a supportive learning environment. - Experience with young learners and a passion for fostering their growth in all areas. - Flexibility and a collaborative mindset in a multicultural school environment. - Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check 3. Working Conditions - Working hours refer to your required on-site presence; teaching hours refer to the time actively spent delivering instruction or leading activities • Teaching Age Group: Elementary • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. • Lunch: Provided by the school
