SDA Language Institute is seeking qualified and dedicated native English teachers to join our team. We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, and well-organized instructors who can comfortably teach a diverse group of students, ranging from elementary/middle school students to adults. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and have experience working with adults and older students. A good teacher for this position would be flexible, organized, and has a positive attitude. You will be responsible for the following: Conduct 1-on-1 and small-group Business English classes for adults. Teach junior students (Elementary & Middle School) with enthusiasm and high engagement. Maintain a professional, patient, and adaptable teaching approach tailored to various student levels. Follow provided lesson plans and utilize standardized curriculum materials. Attend weekly staff meetings, training sessions, and seminars. Candidate Qualifications: Native English speaker holding citizenship from one of the E-2 visa eligible countries (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland). Eligible for an E-2 visa or currently holding a valid F-visa (F-2, F-4, F-5, F-6). Must have an apostilled Criminal Record Check (CBC) and apostilled Bachelor’s degree ready. Clean self-medical check result. Prior experience teaching both adults and young learners is highly preferred. Ethnic Koreans (Gyopo) with native fluency are welcome to apply. Working Conditions Working hours are described as the time you need to be present at the school. Teaching hours are the active amount of time you will be conducting classes or activities. • Working Hours: Split Shift 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Adult Classes (~2–3 classes) 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Junior Classes (~2–3 classes) 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Adult Classes (~2 classes) • Teaching Hours: 40 classes per week • Class Hour: 60 minutes • Teacher Training: provided prior to the term • Teaching Staff: 6 Native English Teachers, 8 Korean Teachers • NOTE: SDALA teachers teach classes from Monday through Thursday. Fridays are spent as special or culture days with adult students. Makeup classes may be scheduled on Fridays if necessary, provided total working hours remain within 40 hours per week.
