Welcome to RITE English Pyeongtaek

At RITE (Righteous Intellects Through Education), we believe that language learning is more than just memorizing words; it's about deeply understanding vocabulary, encouraging critical thinking, and nurturing each student’s potential through personalized education. We teach students from kindergarten to high school, tailoring our approach to meet the needs of learners at every stage of their educational journey.

Our success is rooted in our teachers. As a teacher myself, I understand the challenges and rewards that come with this profession. This motivates me to create a work environment that is not only productive but also fulfilling and enjoyable for our educators.  We value building long-term relationships with our teachers and many of our staff have been with us since the beginning. I am deeply committed to supporting our team, ensuring they have all the support and resources they need to succeed and thrive.

Work Environment & Teacher Expectations

We pride ourselves on creating a work environment where everyone feels like part of the family. Our team is diverse, with teachers from all over the world, including many with TESOL certifications and degrees in English or Childhood Education. While many of our teachers come from the U.S., we welcome people from all backgrounds. Whether it’s planning events or enjoying rooftop barbecues together, we’ve built a culture that fosters transparency, innovation, and teamwork.

At the heart of our work culture are two key principles: "Love and Professionalism." To be a teacher here, you must embody both. Love for students means truly caring for them, putting your heart into your teaching, and always striving to offer them more. Love for colleagues involves supporting your peers with kindness, and sharing both the small and big joys along the way. Love for yourself is about committing to personal growth, taking care of your health, and radiating positive energy. Professionalism in teaching means having the skills to provide high-quality education to your students. Our team believes in the phrase, "We work to live, not live to work!" We ensure all our teachers have reasonable teaching hours and adequate break times. Additionally, on Fridays, all teachers leave work promptly at 6 PM!

Reasons to Work at RITE English

  • Unlock Personal & Professional Growth: We invest in both your career and the academy's success. With clear paths for promotion into leadership roles, many of our teachers have grown with us and remained part of the team for years.
  • Well-structured curriculum with Creative Freedom: We provide a clear and organized curriculum with detailed lesson plans, reducing stress and allowing teachers the freedom to be creative and engaging in their lessons.
  • Work-Life Balance & Teacher Support: We provide reasonable working hours, ample break times, and thoughtful facilities: Our teachers leave on time every Friday, and after three years of service, they receive two weeks of paid leave.
