Our Curriculum and Programs

Our programs at RISE for kindergarten (ages 5-7) and elementary students (ages 8-13) center around a play-based curriculum that combines language, cognitive, and social-emotional learning.

Through fun, hands-on activities and a mix of print and digital media, we create immersive English classrooms that foster a love of learning. This approach allows children to experience English not just as a language, but as a culture.

Throughout the year, we host fun events like Market Day and celebrate holidays through themed days, including Halloween, Christmas, and Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving).

Our Teachers and Community

At RISE Korea, our teachers are the heart of our play-based, immersive English curriculum. They bring energy, passion, and creativity to every classroom. Our teachers work alongside Korean assistants who help manage the students and offer additional classroom support.

We prioritize the growth and well-being of our teachers. Our onboarding and ongoing training cover teaching methodologies, classroom management, and cultural sensitivity. Additionally, teachers are regularly encouraged to collaborate with colleagues and participate in R&D initiatives. See an interview with David Moon, the Head of R&D and Recruiting
