Plato is looking for qualified teachers to serve as kindergarten teachers. 1. Responsibilities Overview • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons • Grade regular homework assignments • Prepare and create tests and examinations • Track and report students’ performance and give feedback • Teach kindergarten students speaking, stories, arts and crafts, phonics, reading, and writing 2. Requirements • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten (Age 5-7) • Working Hours: Mon.-Fri., 9:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. • Curriculum and lesson plan provided • Training provided (1-week training before work starts, an hourly wage of 15,000 KRW will be provided during the training period) • Class Type: Co-teaching with the Korean co-teacher (5-year old: Co-teacher stays in the classroom, 6-7-year-old: Co-teacher stays in the hallway) • Current Teaching Staff: 22 Native Teachers 4. Hiring Process • As part of the interview process, candidates will be asked to deliver a mock lesson. All necessary materials and preparation time will be provided during the interview. Topic: Kindergarten-class level reading passage Prep time: 10 minutes Presentation time: 5-10 minutes
