Job Description
Plato is looking for qualified teachers to serve as kindergarten teachers.
1. Responsibilities Overview
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons
• Grade regular homework assignments
• Prepare and create tests and examinations
• Track and report students’ performance and give feedback
• Teach kindergarten students speaking, stories, arts and crafts, phonics, reading, and writing
2. Requirements
• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• F-visa holders
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Must be physically and mentally healthy.
3. Working Conditions
• Student Type: Kindergarten (Age 5-7)
• Working Hours: Mon.-Fri., 9:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.
• Curriculum and lesson plan provided
• Training provided (1-week training before work starts, an hourly wage of 15,000 KRW will be provided during the training period)
• Class Type: Co-teaching with the Korean co-teacher (5-year old: Co-teacher stays in the classroom, 6-7-year-old: Co-teacher stays in the hallway)
• Current Teaching Staff: 22 Native Teachers
Salary
2,500,000 KRW - 3,000,000 KRW Monthly (Negotiable)

• Insured with the 4 National Insurances.
• Severance: paid upon the completion of employment
• Vacation: 10 days plus National Korean Holidays, 3 sick days
• Airfare: One-way trip reimbursed for candidates outside of Korea (1,200,000 KRW max.)
