Roles and Responsibilities At HCIS Songdo, we are teaching the skills needed for students to study abroad. Our curriculum, supported by innovative teaching techniques, modern resources and engaging programs, is designed to engage each student individually and prepare them for bright futures ahead. HCIS Songdo would like to work with you. HCIS Songdo is looking for candidates who have passion and are serious about teaching. As our students are at more advanced English levels, those who have teaching experience would do well at our school. As an Elementary Math & Science Teacher, you will be responsible for the following: • Ensure that students meet all learning standards laid out by the school • Provide feedback on student learning and facilitate student learning in areas students struggle in • Follow the textbooks and syllabi provided by the school to create a diverse curriculum and lesson plans for students • Add appropriate learning activities, visual aids, and auditory aids to lessons • Grade assignments and prepare student progress reports in a timely manner • Attend and participate in faculty and staff meetings Candidate Qualifications: • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Hold an F-4 or other F visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship or Korean citizenship • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. Working Conditions • Teaching Age: Elementary School • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. • Teaching Hours: 25-30 classes per week • Class Hour: 40 minutes per class • Class Size: 12 -14 students per class • Lunch Hour: 1 hour. • Teaching Staff: 25 native English teachers

You will be responsible for the following: • Plan, prepare and deliver lessons • Prepare teaching materials ahead of time • Grade regular homework assignments • Prepare and create tests and examinations • You will be teaching pre-kindergarten classes in the morning with one elementary class in the afternoon a day.
