1. About the Role

The Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher serves as the primary classroom teacher for a designated grade level (Kindergarten), responsible for delivering core subject instruction, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of each student.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a warm, developmentally appropriate early years program aligned with LCI's curriculum
• Foster a nurturing, structured classroom environment that supports young learners' growth
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
• Contribute to the ongoing development of our early years program

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification
• Fluent English communication skills
• A collaborative, child-centered educator with strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a director, head teacher, or in a leadership role within an early years setting
• Korean proficiency

2. Contract Period
1 year, renewable (Long-term employment available upon mutual agreement)
 

3. Work Conditions

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 ~ 17:30 (including lunch break)
• Location: Songdo International City Global Campus, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, South Korea

4. Compensation & Benefits
Annual Salary

• Negotiable based on experience and qualifications

• Paid Vacation: Annual eight-weeks paid vacation plus Korean national holidays
• Severance: Paid upon the completion of employment (minimum 1-year contract)
