Position Overview
We invite applications for two distinct full-time instructional positions within our secondary-level academic program. The successful candidates will each assume responsibility for one disciplinary area only: AP Computer Science or AP Mathematics and SAT Math. Both appointments require the intellectual maturity, subject-matter command, and pedagogical precision necessary to deliver rigorous, university-preparatory instruction in an English-medium environment.

2. AP Mathematics & SAT Math Instructor
Primary teaching assignment: AP Precalculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Statistics, and SAT Math preparation
Employment Details
Start Date: August 18, 2026
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Work Location: Assignment to either the Daechi branch or the Seocho branch
Shared Professional Responsibilities
- Design and deliver coherent, intellectually demanding courses aligned with current College Board frameworks and the institution’s university-preparatory curriculum.
- Develop syllabi, unit plans, assessments, and instructional materials that demonstrate disciplinary depth and a clearly articulated progression of learning.
- Evaluate student performance with academic rigor and provide precise, timely feedback as well as targeted intervention where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, achievement, and academic progress, and communicate professionally with students, families, colleagues, and administrators.
- Uphold academic integrity, responsible technology use, safeguarding standards, and the professional expectations of the institution.
- Contribute constructively to collaboration across the instructional team, curriculum review, professional learning, and assigned institutional activities.
Required Qualifications - All Applicants
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in the relevant discipline or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated capacity to teach secondary-level learners in English with clarity, intellectual authority, and sound instructional judgment.
- Relevant secondary-level teaching experience in an international program, private education institution, or comparably rigorous academic setting.
- Ability to design standards-aligned curriculum, assessments, and evidence-based academic support.
- Legal eligibility to work in the Republic of Korea and ability to satisfy applicable background-check requirements.
Position-Specific Requirements
AP Computer Science Instructor
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Advanced command of Java, object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, debugging, and computational problem-solving.
- Sufficient disciplinary breadth to teach AP Computer Science Principles topics, including data, computer systems, networks, cybersecurity, and the societal implications of computing.
- Ability to prepare students for the AP Computer Science A examination and to guide the AP Computer Science Principles Create Performance Task in accordance with current requirements.
AP Mathematics & SAT Math Instructor
- Degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- Demonstrated mastery of algebra, functions, trigonometry, analytic geometry, precalculus, differential and integral calculus, probability, and statistics.
- Ability to teach AP Precalculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, and AP Statistics at a level appropriate for high-achieving secondary students.
- Ability to prepare students for SAT Math through diagnostic analysis, strategic problem-solving instruction, and systematic review.
Preferred Qualifications - All Applicants
- Master’s or doctoral degree in the relevant discipline, education, or a related field.
- Three or more years of successful instructional experience in a secondary-level academic setting.
- Recognized teaching certification or licensure from Korea, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or another established jurisdiction.
- Experience with AP, IB, A-Level, Honors, or other advanced international curricula.
- Evidence of sustained professional learning, curriculum leadership, or contribution to departmental development.
Position-Specific Preferred Qualifications
AP Computer Science Instructor
- Prior teaching experience in both AP Computer Science A and AP Computer Science Principles.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, C++, robotics, competitive programming, or project-based computing instruction.
- Experience evaluating substantial programming projects, portfolios, or performance tasks.
- Familiarity with contemporary issues in artificial intelligence, data ethics, and responsible computing.
AP Mathematics & SAT Math Instructor
- Prior teaching experience in AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Statistics, and/or AP Precalculus.
- Documented experience preparing students for high-level SAT Math performance.
- Experience teaching multivariable calculus, linear algebra, discrete mathematics, or other university-level mathematics.
- Experience using assessment data to diagnose misconceptions and differentiate instruction for advanced learners.
