Job Description

Poppins Language Institute is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Native English Teacher to join our growing academic team.

We provide a student-centered English program that helps elementary students develop not only language proficiency but also critical thinking, creativity, and confident communication.

As a teacher at Poppins, you will work with students at various proficiency levels—from beginner ESL learners building vocabulary and conversation skills to advanced students engaging in academic reading, discussion, debate, and creative writing.

 

Responsibilities

  • Teach elementary students (Grades 1–6) in small-group classes (8–12 students).
  • Teach beginner classes focusing on vocabulary, phonics, reading, and conversation.
  • Teach academic English using curricula such as Wonders, Reading Explorer, Time for Kids (TFK) and Debate.
  • Lead engaging discussion, debate, creative writing, and presentation lessons.
  • Encourage students to think critically, express their ideas confidently, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback on speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Collaborate with Korean teachers to deliver high-quality lessons and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in teacher meetings, workshops, and school events.

Salary

- Full Time: 2,500,000 KRW monthly and upwards(based on years of experience and qualifications) / Part-time salary is based on an hourly rate determined by experience and qualifications. Monthly pay is calculated based on the total teaching hours worked.
