1. Company Description

SLI Education Group is a well-established education company based in Seocho-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Since 1976, SLI has provided professional language education and corporate training programs for major Korean companies, public institutions, and executive-level professionals. SLI specializes in customized English communication training, business English, executive coaching, and practical language programs designed for real workplace communication.

2. Role Description

We are currently recruiting qualified instructors for the KHNP Corporate English Program.

This is an on-site contract position at one of the KHNP sites in South Korea, including Gyeongju, Busan, Ulsan, Yeonggwang, Uljin, Daejeon, or Chuncheon. Instructors will provide one-on-one and small-group English lessons to KHNP adult employees, including researchers, engineers, managers, and executives.

The program focuses on business communication, general and business conversation, presentation skills, meetings, overseas business communication, and speaking test preparation. Responsibilities include lesson preparation, delivering interactive lessons, managing learner progress, attendance reporting, and providing speaking assessments and feedback when required.

3. Working Conditions

• Work Location: One of the KHNP sites in Gyeongju, Busan, Ulsan, Yeonggwang, Uljin, Daejeon, or Chuncheon
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Salary: KRW 4,000,000 per month
• Accommodation: Private accommodation may be provided for instructors assigned outside their current residential area
• Class Type: One-on-one and small-group lessons
• Learners: Adult employees of KHNP, generally in their 20s to 50s

4. Program Overview

• Executive English Training: Customized training for business meetings, presentations, negotiations, and speech-related needs
• Overseas Business Training: Communication training for international meetings, overseas assignments, conference calls, and export-related tasks
• General / Business Conversation: Daily English, discussion-based lessons, business communication, and professional writing
• Speaking Test Preparation: Coaching for TOEIC Speaking, OPIC, IELTS, and presentation-based speaking practice

5. Qualifications

• Native or near-native English proficiency
• F-series visa holders preferred, including F-2, F-4, F-5, or F-6
• Experience teaching adult learners, corporate English, or business English preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt lessons to different learner needs and proficiency levels
• Professional attitude and reliability in a corporate training environment
• TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification preferred
• Previous teaching experience in Korea or in a corporate training setting is an advantage

6. Additional Information

An apostilled criminal background check is required for KHNP site access. The related costs will be shared equally between the instructor and SLI Education Group on a 50:50 basis.
