Job Description

1. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Position: Full-time Faculty for the Department of English
  • Teaching Field: English Education / TESOL
  • Working Hours: 32 hours per week (16 hours per week during vacation periods); remote work is not permitted
  • Teaching Load: 15 credit hours per semester
  • Duties: Management of departmental courses and extracurricular activities

2. Applicant Qualifications

  • Applicants holding F- or E-type visas are eligible to apply, however they must not have any disqualifications with respect to the university’s minimum requirements.
  • Must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in the relevant field (English Education / TESOL) by the application deadline (Graduates-to-be are not eligible).

3. Working Conditions

  • Contract Period: 1-year contract (renewable upon evaluation).
  • Expected Appointment Date: September 1, 2026 (Subject to change depending on the university schedule).

  • 3rd Stage (Interview): For those who pass the 2nd stage.
  • Note: Candidates who pass the 1st stage will be required to submit additional physical documents (e.g., Resume, Research and Teaching Plan, List of Research Achievements within the last 4 years, Department Development Plan, etc.) prior to the 2nd stage.

  • The university reserves the right not to appoint any candidate if no qualified applicant is found.
  • All submitted documents must be originals, with the exception of degree certificates and the Ph.D. registration certificate from the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF).
  • If any information provided in the application or supporting documents is found to be false, the recruitment process will be terminated, and the appointment may be canceled even after it has been finalized.
