Position: Full-Time P.E Teacher

Starting Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching and Learning

·         Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Physical Education lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives.

·         Promote physical literacy, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyle habits among students.

·         Incorporate a variety of sports, fitness, and movement activities to ensure a balanced and inclusive program.

2. Curriculum Development

·         Contribute to the planning, development, and review of the school’s PE curriculum and extracurricular sports programs.

·         Integrate modern pedagogical approaches, technology, and international standards in teaching PE.

3. Classroom and Safety Management

·         Ensure a safe and positive learning environment in all PE classes and activities.

·         Maintain proper supervision and safety protocols during indoor and outdoor sessions.

·         Manage and care for sports facilities and equipment responsibly.

4. Co-curricular Activities and Events

·         Organize and supervise school sports days, tournaments and fitness clubs.

·         Encourage student participation in both competitive and recreational sports.

5. Professionalism and Collaboration

·         Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support whole-school wellness and cross-curricular initiatives.

·         Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

·         Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in PE and sports education.

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

·         A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field.

·         A minimum of two years of full-time experience

·         Native or near-native fluency in English.

·         Must be a Korean national or hold a valid F-2, F-4, F-5, or F-6 visa.

·         A clean criminal background check.

Preferred:

·         A Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Compensation and Benefits

·         Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and credentials.

·         Enrollment in the Korean National Health Insurance and National Pension plans.

·         Severance pay provided upon completion of a one-year contract.

·         Six weeks of paid vacation in addition to all national holidays.

·         Daily lunch provided.

·         Working Hours: Monday ~ Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
