Job Description
1. Roles and Responsibilities
Language Cube Gangnam is seeking qualified and professional candidates to serve as English teacher to adults. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and have experience working with adults. A good teacher for this position would be flexible, organized, and has a positive attitude.
You will be responsible for the following:
• Teach 1:1 class to adult students.
• Prepare classes
2. Candidate Qualifications:
• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• F-visa holders
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Minimum one-year teaching commitment
3. Working Conditions
• Working Hours: Monday: 16:30 – 21:30, Tuesday – Friday: 07:00 – 11:00 & 16:30 – 21:30,
One Saturday per month: 09:00 – 17:00 (Negotiable)
• Student Type: Adult
• Teaching Type: 1:1 Classes
• Teaching Hours: 40 hours prt errk
Salary
Base Salary: 2,200,000 KRW monthly and up with additional incentives
Benefits
• Incentives:
50,000 KRW – 650,000 KRW (Guaranteed average: 250,000–400,000 KRW)
Saturday Bonus: 150,000 KRW (For those working 40 hours on weekdays)
• 4 major insurances
• Severance payment: paid upon the completion of a one year contract
• Vacation: 15 days of paid leave plus Korean national holidays
Housing
Housing Provided, Housing Allowance Provided
Housing provided, but teachers need to pay 500,000KRW a month for additional rent fees & maintenance fees.
Housing is 5 minutes walking distance from the school. New and modern loft-style officetel.
Housing allowance is 500,000KRW a month.
