Job Description
Milestone Institute is currently one of the most well-respected academies in South Korea. Its roots started over 18 years ago in Daechi which is located in the Gangnam district.

Our core curriculum is based on Reading and Writing using American textbooks, novels, and other non-fiction contents. We also have a very unique system that focuses on having no more than 6 students per class, so that teachers can give each student individual attention and care. This allows our teachers to build a stronger relationship with their students and help them excel in their studies.

1. Roles and Responsibilities
At Milestone Institute, you will be responsible for the following:
• Teach basic to advanced English reading, writing, speaking, and listening
• Actively engage students in the learning process.
• Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect an understanding of the learning styles and needs of students.
• Offer support and flexibility as needed.
2. Candidate Qualifications
All candidates must:
• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• F-visa holders
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Must be physically and mentally healthy.
• We want teachers that are dedicated, enthusiastic, outgoing, adaptive and professional.
3. Working Condition'
• Student Type: Elementary School Students (Gr. 1-6)
• Working Hours: M, T, W, TH 2:20 - 9:40 P.M., F 2:20~7:15 2:20 - 9:40 P.M. (with breaks in between)
• Summer/Winter Intensive Courses: M, W F 10:00 am~1:00 pm. (seniority based, 8 to 12 days with extra stipend)
• Teaching Hours: Less than 25 hours a week
• Class Size: 6 students per class
• Teacher Training: Provided
Salary
2.4 - 3.0 million KRW and up (Negotiable based on qualification and experience.)
Benefits
• Insured with the 4 National Insurances.
• Severance Pay: Paid upon the completion of employment (minimum 1-year contract)
• Vacation: 11 days plus National Korean Holidays
• Others: Special allowance for intensive courses. Additional incentives such as 'Teacher of the Month', 'Teacher of the Semester or annual bonuses.
