Job Description
1. Roles and Responsibilities
You will be a teacher for our elementary school students. Follow the premade curriculum, but also use your creativity and imagination to make the classes more fun and enjoyable for the students.
You will be responsible for the following:
• Conduct classes as scheduled
• Prepare materials for classes
• Student assessment and reporting
• Communicate and cooperate with the classroom teacher, co-teacher, and administration
• Attend meetings, workshops, and special events required by the institute.
2. Candidate Qualifications
• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• F-visa holders
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Must be physically and mentally healthy
3. Working Conditions
Working hours are described as the time you need to be present at school. Teaching hours are the active amount of time you will be conducting classes or activities.
• Student Type: Elementary (Grade 4-6)
• Working Hours Monday - Friday, 2:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M.
• Curriculum, Lesson Plan: Provided
• Teacher Training: Provided for the first 3 weeks.
• Teaching Staff: 11 Native English Teachers
Salary
2.4 Million KRW per month and up (Depending on experience)
Benefits
• Insured with the 4 National Insurances.
• Severance: upon completion of a one-year contract, severance pay which is equal to one month’s salary is paid to the teacher.
• Vacation: 11 days plus National Korean Holidays
•Airfare: one-way ticket reimbursed (50% of the cost for a return ticket is reimbursed if the teacher works 2 years, fully paid return ticket upon 3 years of teaching.)
Housing
Housing Provided
• An officetel (studio type) will be provided by the school.
• The housing will be across the street 2 or 3 minutes away from the campus on foot.
