1. Role and Responsibilities

As an elementary homeroom teacher, you will guide students through a rigorous, US-based curriculum while fostering a positive, engaging, and student-centered classroom environment. You will teach core subjects and support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
 

You will be responsible for the following:

•    Teach ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies using a standards-based curriculum 
•    Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with Common Core and NGSS 
•    Integrate project-based learning (PBL), MakerSpace activities, and interdisciplinary learning 
•    Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners 
•    Assess student progress and maintain accurate records using Schoology 
•    Provide feedback to students and communicate regularly with parents 
•    Support social-emotional learning and classroom community building 
•    Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives 
•    Participate in meetings, workshops, and school events 
 

2. Candidate Qualifications

• Native English Speaker

• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 

• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• F-visa holders

• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check to register with the Korean Education Office

• Must be physically and mentally healthy

• Strong classroom management and communication skills 
• Passion for student-centered, innovative education 

• Teachers with education major or teaching credentials/certifications heavily preferred. 

3. Working Conditions

• Student Type: Elementary (G1-G5)

• Curriculum: US-based, standards-aligned curriculum provided

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

• Teacher Training: Provided
