Westminster Canadian Academy (WCA) is a Grade 1-12 educational schooling cooperative located in north Gwacheon, just south of Seoul. We are a small community located next to a hillside forest with a nature trail and beautiful views of Gwanak Mountain. We have a diverse student body with fantastic parental and family support. WCA follows a North American curriculum and is accredited by the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS), the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), and Accreditation International (AI).

We are seeking a middle/high school English/literature teacher to join us for the 2024-25 academic year, beginning late August 2024. The teacher is responsible for teaching the following classes:

- English 9
- Composition 9
- English 10
- English 11
- English 12

We offer small class sizes, paid vacations, and a competitive salary based on experience. Candidates must hold an F-class visa (or be a Korean national). The ideal candidate has teaching experience and is a certified educator (or is enrolled in a certification program).

Working Conditions:

- Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:15 AM to 4:00 PM

- Staff Meetings: usually one or two Wednesdays each month, from 3:40 to 4:30 PM

- Supervision: one or two lunch recesses during the week

- Salary ranges from KRW 2.4-3.8 million depending on experience, degrees, and teaching license/credential
