*QUALIFICATIONS*

• Energetic teaching abilities and strong classroom management skills
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience IN Korea (preferably elementary school students)
• Have a university degree from (US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand etc)
• B.A. required (Journalism, English, English Lit major preferred)
• Native English speaker (bilingual candidates preferred)
• F-visa holders / Korean citizens with fluent English speaking ability
• Must love being around children
• prefer individuals looking for long time work and plan on staying in Korea for minimum 2 years
• Professional, organized and punctual individual
• Previous R&D experience preferred
• Experience making curriculum and tests

*START DATE*

·April Start: April 1st, 2024 (Mon.) / May start: April 29th, 2024 (Mon.)

·Training: Minimum 1-2 weeks depending on experience done before start of teaching classes

*WORKING CONDITION*

Teaching 4 days (4 days work week)

Hours:  MWF 2:00-10:00p.m / Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

*VACATION DAYS*

·Academy Vacation days: 3-5 days off for each holiday  

(1)  Lunar New Year, (2) Children’s Day, (3) Summer Vacation,  (4) Korean Thanksgiving, and (5) Winter Vacation

·Personal Vacation days: 4 days paid vacation (on top of academy vacation days)

*LOCATION*

·10 minute walk from Hanti Station (Yellow Bundang Line)

·300 meter walk from Kangnam Severance Hospial

*SALARY*

 2 million KRW (base 2 million with incentives according to % of students taught max pay can go up to 5 million KRW) for 4 days/wk

·Severance pay for each successful contract year

·Paid on time and in full (ALWAYS!)
