Job Description
Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is a growing K-12 school that is designed to help teach young people to become responsible citizens and prepare students for college. That means that they must learn the key attributes of ethical behavior including courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty in addition to the core academic subjects.
A positive school climate is characterized by quality teaching by instructors and effective learning by students. This requires a safe environment for all who work in and attend SPAS along with an emphasis on citizenship and adherence to rules applied equitably and fairly to all in the Saint Paul Scholars community. We believe that parents are essential partners in the educational process and must be properly involved and accountable for the achievement and behavior of their children.
Saint Paul American Scholars is seeking a qualified and experienced administrator, or aspiring administrator, to fill the role of a Secondary School Vice Principal for the 2024-2025 academic school year. The role begins in August 2024 as part of a 6-month probationary period of mentorship, guidance, and assessment by the SPAS School Principal. An August onboarding process will provide guidance, direction, and structure for the start and commencement of the school year in a collaborative administrative team effort.
We will be starting interviews as we receive candidates - preferably in person on our Bundang Campus, but we will also accept Google Meet interviews for strong candidates. We will close the position once it is filled.

SPAS is looking for energetic candidates with previous experience in administration

Candidates who have utilized educational data in decision making are preferred (MAP/SR/AR/WIDA etc)

We are considering candidates with administrative degrees

Candidates who provide letters of recommendation from former or current employers will have the strongest consideration

All candidates must have an understanding of Social-Emotional Learning and a holistic view of students.

Candidates must have strong organizational abilities, understand how to use Google platforms, and be comfortable with electronic LMS platforms

Requirements
• Have a minimum of a master's degree from an accredited institution
• Hold an F-4 or other F visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship or Korean citizenship
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Major: Administration, Education Administration, Education Leadership, Curriculum Design , etc.

Competitive and based on a salary scale contingent on years of experience, degrees, and certificates
