1. Roles and Responsibilities
As a homeroom teacher, you will;
•Teaching a variety of subjects such as Language Arts, Math, History, Bible Studies, etc.
•Create fun and engaging supplementary activities for students
•Grade basic homework assignments and write up report cards each semester on student progress
•Attend weekly staff meetings and seminars
2. Candidate Qualifications:
•Must be citizens of the U.S.A, Canada, the UK, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, or South Africa.
•Must have all required documents (apostilled nationwide criminal background check and an apostilled diploma from a 4-year accredited university.
•A clean self-medical health check
3. Working Conditions
Working hours are described as the time you need to be present at the school. Teaching hours are the active amount of time you will be conducting classes or activities.
•Working Hours: Mon - Fri 9:00 – 5:40
•Class Size : 10
Specialized Requirements for Candidates
•Education Background Preferred
2.1 Million KRW and up (Negotiable Upon Experience)
• Insured with the 4 National Insurances.
•Severance: upon completion of a one-year contract, severance pay which is equal to one month’s salary is paid to the teacher.
•Vacation: 1 week summer and 1 week winter
Housing Provided, Housing Allowance Provided
Housing Allowance 300,000 KRW
