Job Description
1. Roles and Responsibilities
JUNIEA is looking for qualified teachers to serve as a Kindergarten homeroom teacher. You will be responsible for teaching students from ages 5-7 years old a variety of subjects in English. The subjects you will be covering include: language arts, math, science, music, physical education, cooking, and arts and crafts.
You will be responsible for the following:
•Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons
•Prepare teaching materials ahead of time
•Grade regular homework assignments
•Prepare and create tests and examinations
•Track and report students’ performance date and give feedback
2. Candidate Qualifications:
•Must be citizens of the following countries: U.S.A or Canada
•Must have all required documents (apostilled nationwide criminal background check and an apostilled diploma from a 4-year accredited university.
•A clean self-medical health check
3. Working Conditions
Working hours are described as the time you need to be present at the school. Teaching hours are the active amount of time you will be conducting classes or activities.
• Start Date: March 2, 2023
• Student Type: Kindergarten and Elementary
• Curriculum: U.S. Common Core
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.
• Teaching Hours: 120 hours per month
• Class Time: 30-40 minutes per class
• Class Size: 14 Students
• Teacher Training: Provided
• Teaching Staff: 5 Native English Teachers
Salary
From 2.3 Million KRW (Negotiable Upon Experience)

• Severance: upon completion of a one-year contract, severance pay which is equal to one month’s salary is paid to the teacher.
• Vacation: 13 days plus National Korean Holidays
• One-way flight provided for teachers abroad
