YBM ECC is seeking qualified and professional candidates to serve as Kindergarten Homeroom and Elementary School English teachers. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and who works well with young children. You will be encouraging students to develop expression through hands-on activities and projects that utilize a language-learning curriculum and thinking tools. This program works on developing the 4 Skills of English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) while fostering integrated English skills. You will be teaching four different levels of students based on their fluency levels. 1. Responsibilities Overview • Employ immersion techniques in classrooms for young learners; use theme‑based learning, phonics, drama, hands‑on activities and reading discovery. • For higher levels: include grammar, writing, debate, project presentations, critical reading and exposure to real‑world texts (magazine, articles, etc.) as per the Advanced / Gifted tracks. • Collaborate with bilingual co‑teachers for support, student understanding, parent communication, and for planning effective lessons. • Participate in assessments: regular quizzes/tests, reading comprehension, presentations, writing assignments to track progress. • Attend staff meetings as well as participate in training workshops. 2. Requirements • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten & Elementary • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. (Classes start at 9:20 A.M.) • Curriculum & Lesson Plans: Provided • Teacher Training: Provided • Lunch: Provided • Lunch Duty: Teachers eat lunch with students 2 - 3 times per week. A separate break is provided before and/or after the lunch period. • Additional Events: T eachers are required to participate in two ‘Special Day’ events per year, held Friday from 8 - 9 P.M. and Saturday from 10 A.M. - 5 P.M. Overtime pay is provided for these events.
