Celebrating Korean Culture Through English

At Willow & Wonder, we believe that children become true global citizens when they develop pride in their own culture while learning to communicate with the world. Throughout the year, students participate in cultural celebrations that connect Korean traditions with authentic English learning.

During our Lunar New Year Cultural Week, children made traditional mandu while learning expressions such as "Wrapping blessings inside the mandu," discovering the meaning of sharing good fortune with others. They also enjoyed traditional games including Tuho and Yutnori, practicing natural English phrases like "Move two steps!" and "One more turn!" while developing teamwork, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

These experiences help students appreciate Korean heritage while naturally expanding their English vocabulary and cultural understanding.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

Our curriculum emphasizes learning through meaningful experiences that children genuinely enjoy. Special events and themed activities provide opportunities for students to practice English in authentic situations while building important life skills.

One of our students' favorite events is Market Day, where children use classroom-earned currency to purchase toys, school supplies, and snacks. As they make purchasing decisions, compare prices, and interact with classmates, they naturally practice communication, develop financial awareness, strengthen decision-making skills, and experience the satisfaction of achieving personal goals through their own efforts.

Through activities like Market Day, children discover that learning extends far beyond textbooks, becoming a memorable and enjoyable part of everyday life.

Our Promise

At Willow & Wonder, we strive to make every morning one that children look forward to. We are committed to creating a nurturing environment where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally while developing the confidence to thrive in an increasingly global world.

Learning is an Adventure. Every day is an opportunity for children to discover, explore, and become the very best version of themselves.

Teachers who join Willow & Wonder become part of a school that values creativity, meaningful relationships, and high-quality early childhood education. Rather than simply teaching English, teachers help children develop confidence, curiosity, and a global mindset through immersive, hands-on learning experiences.
