Welcome to Twin.kle Little Star Bundang

Hi! I’m Miguel. After teaching at Twin.kle for over 10 years, I realized our youngest students needed something built just for them. That’s what inspired Twinkle Little Star. It’s the only Twinkle campus just for kindergartners—ages 6 to 7—giving them the tools they need to succeed in our elementary program. Most of our students go on to Twinkle Bundang, already confident and ready to soar.

Reading and writing form the backbone of our curriculum. Students develop a deep appreciation for literature and sharpen their thinking skills. With consistent writing practice and monthly speech presentations, they learn to communicate with clarity and purpose.

Our Curriculum and Programs

Our curriculum focuses on developing foundational skills to prepare students for the Twin.kle elementary program. The program is divided into four sessions throughout the year, with each session focusing on progressively increasing levels of English proficiency. Students begin at a 1.5 level of U.S. textbooks and gradually reach a 3.1 level by the end of the year,

Main Program (6-7Y):

  • Session Book: Each month, students are provided with a book that covers all aspects of their learning for that month.
  • Writing: Practice through weekly assignments (creative and essay writing).

  • Speaking: Follow and mimic videos and record their voices to improve confidence.

  • Reading: Read fiction books twice a week, introduce students to history and science through non-fiction text, such as How Did We Get Here? and Science Stories for Smart Kiddos.

  • Grammar & Vocabulary: Grammar is reinforced through the Grammar Jump series and in-class exercises, while vocabulary is developed by using context from the lessons.

Additional Activities and Events

  • Gym (SFA): Weekly gym classes focus on teamwork and coordination.
  • Art & Science: Engage in weekly activities that foster creativity and scientific curiosity through hands-on experiments.
  • Little Library: A dedicated library where students have the opportunity to read a variety of books during their free time.
  • Monthly Events: Celebrate birthdays, Children's Day, Halloween, Christmas, etc.

We believe in the power of fostering a love for reading, where teachers not only instill a passion for books but also engage students in creative and interactive ways beyond the text.  Our curriculum allows teachers to inspire students by tailoring lessons to their interests and life experiences, adding new and exciting lessons that make learning fun.  We also prioritize a collaborative and supportive work environment, where teachers work closely together to create an immersive and nurturing English learning atmosphere.

We make sure every new teacher feels prepared through focused training on our curriculum and classroom strategies. Our management is more Western in style—open, supportive, and respectful of your expertise. Regular team meetings and workshops help us stay connected and continually improve.

Reasons to Work at Twin.kle Little Star Bundang

  • Flexible Curriculum with Creative Freedom: While Twin.kle provides a well-structured curriculum, teachers have the freedom to enrich their lessons by introducing creative tangents that align with students' interests. This flexibility allows educators to bring in relevant topics that engage students and foster deeper connections with the material, enhancing the overall learning experience.

  • Collaboration on Curriculum & Content: At Twin.kle, teachers have a voice in the curriculum and content development process. Our team encourages input and feedback, allowing educators to play a direct role in shaping the materials and resources used in the classroom. This collaborative approach ensures that the curriculum stays dynamic, relevant, and tailored to the needs of students.

  • Lead Engaging Discussions: At Twin.kle, we believe in fostering student-led learning through open-ended discussions rather than traditional lecture-based teaching. Teachers are empowered to ask open-ended questions, guiding students to think critically, express their opinions, and build on each other's ideas.

Teachers are also encouraged to contribute their ideas to research and development (R&D), actively influencing teaching strategies and methods.
