Math Teacher Wanted at Seoul Scholars International Busan (SSI) Campus

Seoul Scholars International, Busan Campus, is seeking a passionate and engaging science teacher with our secondary school students. The teacher will work with small and dedicated groups of students to support them through their academic journey in their middle / high school years. SSI Busan uses the U.S. Common Core curriculum. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in teaching core middle and high school math subjects, ranging from foundational algebra to advanced AP Calculus. You will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, engaging students with rigorous coursework, and preparing them for college-level mathematics. Key Responsibilities Curriculum Delivery: Teach and lead classes across high school math levels: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus (AB/BC). Lesson Planning: Design, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and exam guidelines (including AP College Board standards). Student Assessment: Evaluate and track student progress through regular quizzes, exams, and assignments; provide constructive feedback. AP & Standardized Test Prep: Prepare students for success on AP Exams, SAT/ACT math sections, and school board examinations. Instructional Differentiation: Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs, skill levels, and paces of individual students. Communication: Maintain open and proactive communication with parents and school administrators regarding student performance and development. Candidate Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Math Education, Engineering, or a closely related field (Master’s degree preferred). Experience: Minimum experience teaching middle/high school mathematics, specifically including AP Calculus. Subject Expertise: Deep knowledge of math concepts, problem-solving techniques, and AP test patterns/scoring guidelines.
