Phileo International Academy (PIA) is a private Christian school located in Yongin City, near Bundang area. We use English as the language of instruction and  our curriculum is based on the American CCSS. We were established in March, 2018. We educate students based on Christian worldview principles with a goal to empower individuals in ways that will enable them to make positive impacts on others. We also aim to stimulate our students' imaginative potential through various educational approaches. We hope to cultivate mature and responsible Christian leaders who not only seek to achieve their God-given potential but also help other do the same.

One last thing, we are conveniently located next to Jukjeon Station (Yongin-Si), near Bundang area (South Korea) Current Opening(s) Elementary School Positions: Gr 1~6 Homeroom Teachers (full-time) Elementary ESL Teacher (part-time) Middle & High School Positions: Physics & Math Teacher (full-time) AP course Instructors - AP Psychology, AP Physics, AP Computer Science, etc (afterschool instructor) Starting Date July 2024 Job Description Elementary School Gr 1~6 Homeroom Teachers (full-time): Manage an assigned homeroom. Teach core subjects and academic elective classes. Supervise nonacademic elective classes. Develop a creative program suitable for the grade level. Employ a variety of educational techniques to enhance student learning. Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and self-esteem. Track children’s progress and report to parents. Communicate with parents regularly. Collaborate with other educators. Maintain a clean classroom environment. Participate in school activities and events. Elementary ESL Teacher (part-time): Teach around 10 hours of ESL classes. Employ a variety of educational techniques to enhance students' English proficiency. Track children’s progress and report to parents. Collaborate with homeroom teachers. Maintain a clean classroom environment. Middle & High School Physcis & Math Teacher (full-time): Teach high school Physics, and other science & math subjects. Develop effective lessons suitable for the subjects & grade levels. Employ a variety of educational techniques to enhance student learning. Track children’s progress and report to parents. Collaborate with other educators. Participate in school activities and events. Be responsible for assigned role and duties. AP Course Instructors (afterschool, part-time): Teach AP courses and prep for AP exams afterschool (hours may vary, 4~5 hours of teaching per week) Must have an experience in teaching AP courses with students scoring above 4 in AP Exams. Track children’s progress and report to parents. Consider a Plus Christian Valid teaching credential (U.S preferred) International school teaching experience Contract Details & Benefits for full-time teachers Salary: competitive salary based on your education and teaching experience Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) Teaching hours: up to 24 teaching hours/week Paid vacation (total 6 weeks) in addition to all national holidays plus 1 week of Spring Break Severance pay (equivalent to a month's salary) will be given after the completion of an one-year contract.
