At POLY, we focus on teaching children English through the five senses and try to make learning English as fun and interesting as possible. We also focus on the physical and social development of our students and promote a sense of creativity and imagination within them.
We currently have 15 native English-speaking teachers working at our academy.
The POLY curriculum is designed to evenly develop the 4 Cs, which are counted as the competencies of future leaders. The 4 C's are Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration. Cultivating confident students, POLY aims to develop confident bilinguals with the essential competencies of future leaders.
1. The Kindergarten Program focuses on building the foundations of English learning in students. The ESL courses taught in this level cover topics such as: phonics, vocabulary, listening, and basic speaking, writing and reading.
2. The Elementary Program teaches students the four skills of English and focuses on conversation. Children at this age, are encouraged to use only English in the classroom. Students are taught a variety of topics such as: reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, essay writing, and current events.

The city also offers you a variety of cultural programs all year round: from Daegu Yangnyeongsi Herbal Medicine Festival in April, Colorful Daegu Festival with a parade in May, Lantern Festival in May, Daegu International Musical Festival in June, Daegu Chicken & Beer Festival in July, Daegu International Body Painting Festival in August to Daegu International Opera Festival in October.

If you want to explore Daegu’s urban night, go to Dongseongno where you can enjoy numerous eye-catching shops and restaurants. Dongseong is the busiest shopping street in Daegu, full of the lively spirit of youth throughout the year. On the streets, there are luxurious department stores, shopping malls, and many brand-name shops for garments and sporting goods. A variety of cultural spaces, bookstores, movie theaters, and performance halls are lined up along the street.
