Positions Article Teacher Writing Teacher Key Conditions Contract type: freelance service contract Work format: remote feedback-based position Live Class: monthly Zoom class conducted from the office Contract and orientation: scheduled for October 2026 Work period: November 2026-January 2027, with possible extension after the initial 3-month period Program Overview GT Club is an article-based academic English program operated by Miinbumo. Students read articles mainly from major English-language publications such as The New York Times and The Economist, understand current social topics, and organize their opinions in English. GT Club is not a simple reading-comprehension class. It is designed to help students build long-term habits of reading, thinking, and expressing ideas in English. Program Features Uses articles mainly from major English-language publications such as The New York Times and The Economist Serves students around G4-G10 Focuses on reading, vocabulary, opinion development, and logical writing Operates based on company-provided curriculum, assignment formats, and operating guidelines Teachers focus on material preparation, student feedback, and monthly Live Classes The operations team supports scheduling, platform use, student communication, and parent communication 1. Role and Responsibilities This posting is for Article Teachers and Writing Teachers. Depending on experience, fit, and availability, applicants may take one track or multiple tracks. Article Teacher Article Teachers provide 1:1 feedback on students' responses to English articles. Prepare English articles, questions, and vocabulary materials based on the assigned theme Review student Article Responses and provide individualized feedback Give individualized feedback on students' opinions, reasoning, logic, and expression Provide follow-up questions or comments that help students extend their thinking Lead Article Live Classes and write related comments Write student comments for 3-month reports Communicate with the operations team regarding materials, classes, and student issues Writing Teacher Writing Teachers provide individualized feedback on student Writing assignments connected to article topics. Select articles and key vocabulary based on the company-provided Writing curriculum Provide individualized feedback on student Writing submissions on Friday Comment on sentence clarity, paragraph structure, idea development, logic, and expression Provide revision direction or sentence frames that students can apply to future writing Prepare and lead a monthly Writing Live Class Write student comments for 3-month reports Communicate with the operations team regarding materials, classes, and student issues 2. Candidate Qualifications Basic Requirements Native or native-level English proficiency Bachelor's degree or higher Currently residing in Korea F visa holder, Korean citizen with native-level English proficiency, or bilingual/overseas Korean instructor Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching or giving feedback to upper elementary, middle school, or high school students Experience in English article reading, academic English, writing feedback, essay correction, ESL/EFL, or reading discussion Ability to provide specific and constructive feedback on student opinions and writing Careful attention to article accuracy and student-facing materials Familiarity with online learning platforms and Zoom classes Smooth communication with the operations team 3. Working Conditions Start: November 2026 Initial contract period: November 2026-January 2027, 3 months Contract type: freelance service contract Work format: remote feedback Article Teacher feedback days: Monday-Thursday Writing Teacher feedback day: Friday Live Class: teachers come to the office once a month to conduct a Zoom class Student level: approximately G4-G10 Class size: approximately 10-20+ students per class Orientation and materials guide: scheduled for October 2026 Compensation is calculated by assigned track and student count. Article Track: KRW 70,000 per student per month Writing Track: KRW 30,000 per student per month Final monthly compensation will be confirmed based on the actual number of assigned students and classes. Detailed work procedures, material submission process, and feedback guidelines will be provided after selection during orientation. 4.
