FT Teacher Wanted: Join MIL English @ (Daechi)
1. Role and Responsibilities As an English teacher, you will support students in developing their language skills and preparing for exams while creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities include: Teach English reading (novels), writing, non-fiction, and grammar from basic to advanced levels using American-based curricula Actively engage students and encourage participation Plan and implement effective instructional strategies that reflect diverse learning styles and needs Assess and respond to both individual student needs and overall class progress Provide support and maintain flexibility in instruction when needed Incorporate technology to enhance the teaching and learning experience Participate in professional development aligned with curriculum goals Evaluate student performance, including grading and parent communication 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must: Be a native English speaker Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Hold an F-4 visa with citizenship from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa, or hold Korean citizenship Provide an apostilled diploma and a criminal background check (if applicable) Be physically and mentally fit for teaching 3. Working Conditions Working hours refer to the total time present at the school, while teaching hours refer to active classroom instruction. Student Level: Elementary (Grades 1–4) Curriculum: Fully provided, including lesson plans and assessments Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM Teaching Hours: 30 hours per week (approximately 6 hours per day) Class Duration: 3 hours per class Class Size: Maximum of 10 students per class Training: Minimum of 7 days of training provided (subject to scheduling) 4.
