Native English Teacher Wanted in Suji, Yongin - Schedule Options Available

Role and Responsibilities Teachers are expected to follow the pre-made curriculum while also using creativity and imagination to make classes engaging, enjoyable, and effective for students. You will be responsible for the following: • Native teachers are assigned as subject teachers (not homeroom teachers). • Follow the monthly curriculum and use the provided core materials. • Create monthly lesson plans based on the established curriculum and learning goals. • Plan, organize, and deliver classroom lessons and coursework appropriate to student age and level. • Teaching may take place at the language institute and its affiliated kindergarten as part of the regular teaching schedule and within contracted working hours. • Prepare lessons actively, including material adaptation and development when needed. • Conduct student evaluations at least twice and up to four times per year, depending on the class, using the institute’s assessment format. • Support students’ learning progress through clear instruction and constructive feedback. • Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrative staff to foster a positive and consistent student learning experience. • Participate in team discussions, curriculum sharing, and ongoing educational development with colleagues. Positions Available • 1 Native English Teachers Working Hours Candidates may choose from the following options: Option 1: Full-Time Monday – Friday, 9:30 A.M. – 6:00 P.M. • Total working hours: 8 hours per day • Teaching hours: Teaching hours: Currently around 5 hours per day, and up to a maximum of 6 hours per day depending on the class schedule. Option 2: Part-Time Monday – Friday, 1:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. • Total working hours: 6 hours per day • Teaching hours: Approximately 3 hours per day at present, with a maximum of 4.5 hours per day depending on the schedule. Student Type • Kindergarten & Elementary • Korean age: 5 – 13 Class Structure • Kindergarten classes: – 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. – 3:30 P.M. • Elementary classes: – 2:50 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Start Date • August 2026, or adjustable depending on circumstances.
