Elementary Homeroom Teacher Wanted at Korea International Christian School(KICS) Seocho in Seoul
Roles and Responsibility Korea International Christian School, an internationally accredited school, is looking for dedicated teachers who are passionate about teaching elementary students as homeroom teacher. As an elementary homeroom teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a well-balanced curriculum, including math, science, social studies, language arts, and PE following the textbooks. Teach subjects to elementary students including math, science, social studies and language arts Ensure that students meet all learning standards laid out by the school Provide feedback on student learning and facilitate student learning in areas students struggle in Follow the textbooks and syllabi provided by the school to create a diverse curriculum and lesson plans for students Add appropriate learning activities, visual aids, and auditory aids to lessons Grade assignments and prepare student progress reports in a timely manner Attend and participate in faculty and staff meetings Consult parents about the students when needed Manage classes in accordance with school rules (especially the English usage guidelines) Candidate Qualifications • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Hold an F-visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship or Korean citizenship • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy Working Conditions • Teaching Age: Elementary • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. • Teaching Hours: 25 - 30 hours per week (approximately) • Class Hours: 45 ~ 50 minutes per class • Class Size: 8 ~ 20 students per class • Teacher Training: Provided • Lunch: Teachers need to eat lunch with students Hiring Process • Resume Screening > 1st and/or 2nd Interview > Final Results. • All interviews are only strictly done in-person at either the Seocho or Incheon campus.
