We offer conveniently located studio housing within walking distance of our campus, ensuring ease of access for our ESL teachers.

The housing is situated in a safe and welcoming neighborhood, fostering a strong sense of community and neighborly support.

Each studio apartment is fully furnished with essential amenities including a refrigerator, air conditioning unit, heater, stove top, washing machine, and a comfortable bed.

Location Description

Located in the central part of Chungcheongbuk-do province in South Korea, Cheongju is the largest city in the province and serves as its political, economic, social, and cultural center.

With a population of around 800,000, it is among the most populous non-metropolitan cities in the country.

Cheongju is a transportation hub, with major highways, KTX rail lines, and the Cheongju International Airport all conveniently located in the city.

The city is also home to five national universities, including the National Korea Teacher's University and the Air Force Academy.

In addition, Cheongju has a robust economy, with a GRDP of 34 trillion won in 2018, which is similar in size to Gwangju and higher than nearby cities such as Daejeon and Cheonan.

Foreign teachers can easily find job opportunities in Cheongju and travel to other cities through diverse transportation options.
