Curriculum/Program

Our education is divided into several stages, consisting of CHESS for elementary school, ACE for middle school, and V GROUP for high school students. All programs are conducted 100% in English, with the result that children will be able to create high-quality outputs on their own.

CHESS

CHESS program is geared towards elementary school students in grades 1-6.

It enables natural English acquisition through 100% English offline classes with the use of our textbook written by professional children's writers in North America, Caramel Tree storybook series, and online-linked learning.

It is an output-centered class, which consists of active and leading participation of students through the CHESS presentation program called Dream Tree.

It is a 4-stage program; Introduction Stage (IS), Development Stage (DS), Leaping Stage (LS), and Master Stage (MS).

ACE

ACE program is based on flipped learning and a specialized English education program that prepares students for the CSAT early for students of elementary grade 6 to middle school grade 2.

It consists of a step-by-step 9 level courses through optimized textbooks and learning according to each student's learning capabilities.

On-offline homework and output-centered class that includes debate and presentation activities are also practiced throughout this program.

V-Group

The V-Group is a program geared towards students in middle school grade 3 to high school grade 3.

The goal of this program is grade management and college entrance exam preparation.

It is divided into 4 groups (V-H, V-S, V-A, and V-M), set according to levels to complete the high school level of CSAT.

It is the stage where students take mock tests and study with advanced grammar books.

Afternoon ESL Teacher Wanted at JLS Dongtan 2

1. Role and Responsibilities JLS is seeking qualified and professional candidates to serve as Elementary and Middle School teachers. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and work well with young children, some of whom are just beginning to learn English. A good teacher for this position would be flexible, organized, and has a positive attitude. You will be responsible for the following: • Teach a variety of ESL classes to Elementary and Middle school students • Create fun and engaging supplementary activities for students • Grade basic homework assignments and write up report cards each semester on student progress • Attend weekly staff meetings and seminars 2. Candidate Qualifications All candidates must: • Native English Speaker • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution • Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship • F-visa holders • Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check • Must be physically and mentally healthy. 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Elementary & Middle (1st - 8th Grade) • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 2:00 - 9:10 P.M. • Teaching Hours: M/W/F 4 teaching hours per day. Tu/Th 2 teaching hours per day. • Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided. • Training: Provided (HQ online training) • Teaching Staff: 1 Native English Teachers, 7 Korean Teachers
