About Us

 

The IIG School opened in 2005 and is currently operating in Mokdong, Seoul, the center of education in Korea, for kindergarten and elementary school students. Our students are children aged 6 to 13 selected through K-ABC, a global cognitive ability test tool, within the top 15% of the intelligence index, which is the standard for gifted education in public schools in the United States.

 

Our Kindergarten program develops the abilities of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. It is an English education centered on creative writing, English based contents, and talents that meets the level and needs of gifted students

 

The elementary school program is for kindergartens students who passed the IIG English Level Test, consisting of American textbook classes, Book Club, and Gifted English based programs.

ESL Teacher Wanted at IIG School in Mokdong

1. Roles and Responsibilities You will be responsible for the following: • Teach a variety of ESL classes to Kindy and Elementary school students • Create a fun and engaging supplementary activities for students • Grade basic homework assignments and write up report cards each semester on student progress • Attend weekly staff meetings and seminars 2. Candidate Qualifications • Be eligible for an E-2 visa or have an F-visa. • Have an apostilled CBC and diploma ready. • Have a clean self-medical health check. 3. Working Conditions Working hours are described as the time you need to be present at the school. Teaching hours are the active amount of time you will be conducting classes or activities. • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:30 A.M. - 6:30 P.M. • Teaching Hours: 30 hours a week
