Starting with the opening of the IC English Center in Seongbuk-gu, I devoted myself to distributing IC to Korea thereby becoming a leading figure in improving the language skills of Korean students overall.
Fortunately, teaching the four skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing as in the IC English class is in line with the changed middle and high school transcript reflection and entrance exam policies announced by the education authorities recently. The IC English program, as a reflection of the traditional English teaching practices of the hagwons, is now more helpful for students' academic achievements and entrance exams than the English programs of other academies that are faithful to the existing school English program.

Our Programs

The curriculum was structured by selecting a specific topic for IC conversation from each of various reading materials (story, explanatory text, etc.) dealing with different topics.
Because the focus is on the meaning, especially the content, rather than the form of language, this curriculum is intended to be a content-based language curriculum in a broad sense.
In terms of language skills, it is an integrated skills curriculum that integrates the four skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Curriculum Overview
Each level covers 12 topics, covering a total of 60 topics for the entire IC English program, with a minimum of 240 topics covered. IC courses are offered in five levels. Phonics and CL (Communicative Language) courses are provided for low-level English learners whose English language skills are not suitable for taking IC classes.

Teacher Training

IC classes cannot be conducted without adequate teacher education regarding IC. Therefore, the IC Teacher Education Center linked to this center provides theoretical and methodological education about IC to hired native American teachers, and also conducts practical education in which teachers conduct practical mock classes based on this.
