Full-Time Academic Assistant Fall Semester 2026

Full-Time Academic Assistant – Fall Semester 2026 Position Name: Academic Assistant Opening: 1 Position Contract Period: TBD Visa Requirement: F-Visa or Korean Nationality Main Responsibilities ● Provide administrative and operational support to the Academic Directors and assist with the day-to-day academic operations of the school. ● Assist with the preparation, organization, and maintenance of academic records and documents, including student information, attendance records, grades, report cards, and other academic materials. ● Support the Academic Directors in coordinating semester schedules, class assignments, academic calendars, and other academic activities. ● Assist in collecting, organizing, and maintaining curriculum materials, lesson-related resources, assessments, and other academic documentation. ● Coordinate with teachers to ensure academic records, grades, attendance, and other required information are submitted accurately and on time. ● Assist with the preparation and administration of assessments, report cards, academic reports, and other student performance-related materials. ● Support the Academic Directors in monitoring academic schedules, deadlines, and school-wide academic procedures. ● Provide administrative support for faculty meetings, academic meetings, teacher training, professional development, and other academic programs or events. ● Prepare and organize documents, spreadsheets, presentations, reports, and other materials required by the Academic Department. ● Assist with data entry, record keeping, and basic analysis of academic and student-related information as needed. ● Communicate and coordinate with teachers, administrators, students, and parents regarding academic administrative matters as directed. ● Support effective communication between the Academic Directors, faculty, and other departments to ensure smooth academic operations. ● Assist with the use and administration of school information systems, digital learning platforms, and other academic technology tools as needed. ● Handle student and faculty information with appropriate confidentiality and maintain professionalism at all times. ● Perform other duties as needed or assigned by the Academic Directors, Principal, Vice Principal, or the school, consistent with academic administrative and operational support responsibilities. Qualifications ○ Minimum Requirements ○ Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution of higher education. ○ Professional proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. ○ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. ○ Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and deadlines in a fast-paced school environment. ○ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, particularly Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Google Docs, and PowerPoint/Google Slides. ○ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with teachers, administrators, students, and parents. ○ Ability to handle confidential student, faculty, and school information professionally and responsibly. ○ Preferred ○ Previous experience in academic administration, school administration, education, or a related field. ○ Experience working in an international school, private school, academy, or other educational environment. ○ Experience using Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), or other school information systems. ○ Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience organizing or managing academic data. ○ Familiarity with academic scheduling, student records, report cards, attendance management, or other academic administrative processes. ○ Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Korean. ○ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team. ○ Alignment with a Christian faith background. Full-Time Academic Director & EdTech – Fall Semester 2026 Position Name: Academic Director & EdTech Opening: 1 Position Contract Period: TBD Visa Requirement: F-Visa or Korean Nationality Main Responsibilities ● Provide academic leadership to enhance the overall quality of teaching and learning and support the school’s academic standards, goals, and educational mission. ● Oversee the development, implementation, review, and evaluation of curriculum, academic programs, and educational resources to ensure alignment with educational standards, guidelines, and best practices. ● Conduct internal curriculum reviews to ensure academic content remains current, relevant, and effective, and support the development of new academic programs as needed. ● Collaborate with teachers and school leadership to review educational trends, student outcomes, and areas for academic improvement. ● Guide and support teachers in curriculum planning, instructional methods, learning materials, classroom management, and the development of effective learning plans. ● Oversee academic processes related to student performance and records, including report cards, attendance records, and other academic documentation. ● Develop and coordinate semester schedules, including class offerings and teaching assignments. ● Promote a culture of continuous improvement in teaching and learning and support high-quality, fair, and inclusive educational experiences for all students. ● Lead and support the effective integration of educational technology into teaching, learning, and academic administration. ● Support teachers and staff in the effective use of educational technology, digital learning platforms, Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other school technology tools. ● Provide basic technical assistance and troubleshooting support to students, teachers, and staff regarding hardware, software, classroom technology, and network-related issues. ● Identify technology needs related to teaching, learning, and school operations and coordinate appropriate improvements or upgrades as needed. ● Coordinate and communicate with external IT vendors and service providers when technical assistance or specialized support is required. ● Work closely with the Principal, Vice Principal, teachers, administrators, and other members of the leadership team to ensure effective academic operations and technology integration. ● Perform other duties as needed or assigned by the Principal, Vice Principal, or the school, consistent with the responsibilities of academic leadership, curriculum management, educational technology integration, and related technical support. Qualifications ○ Minimum Requirements ○ Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution of higher education. ○ Native or near-native proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. ○ Relevant experience in education, academic administration, curriculum development, educational technology, or a related field. ○ Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional practices, and academic program management. ○ Ability to effectively use educational technology, digital learning platforms, school information systems, and general technology tools. ○ Ability to provide basic troubleshooting and technical support for commonly used hardware, software, and classroom technology. ○ Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. ○ Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, students, parents, and external service providers. ○ Preferred ○ Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Educational Technology, or a related field. ○ Possession of a valid teaching or educational leadership certification. ○ Previous experience in an Academic Director, Academic Coordinator, Curriculum Coordinator, or similar academic leadership role. ○ Experience with curriculum development, review, and implementation in an international or American curriculum environment. ○ Demonstrated experience with Understanding by Design (UbD) framework. ○ Experience using and managing educational technology platforms, Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), or other school information systems. ○ Ability to support teachers and staff in integrating technology effectively into teaching and learning. ○ Familiarity with basic IT troubleshooting and coordination with external IT vendors or service providers. ○ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. ○ Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean. ○ Alignment with a Christian faith background.
