1. Working Conditions

• 5-Day Week: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM or 13:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Lunch 30-60 minutes)
• Teaching hours: Up to 30 teaching hours per week
• Student Type: Grades 1-6
• Class Size: 8 students per class
• Teacher Training provided
• Curriculum provided

2. Key Responsibilities

• Teach English Reading, Literature, Writing, Speaking, Vocabulary, and STEM topics for grades 1-6.
• Design interactive, student-centered lessons based on the curriculum.
• Create a positive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and engagement.
• Provide constructive feedback and track student progress.

3. Compensation

• 5-Day Schedule: 2.7 million KRW/month and up.
• Salaries can be negotiated based on experience.
• Severance pay provided at the end of the contract.

4. Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (preference for degrees from US/UK universities). Advanced degrees are welcomed.
• Prior experience teaching elementary-level students, preferably with Daechi teaching experience.
• Apostilled criminal background check, university diploma.
• We prefer candidates looking to stay long-term in Korea.
• Must be physically and mentally healthy.
