1. School Description

A+PREP is a specialized English education provider located in Mokdong, Seoul. We take pride in continuous research and improvement so that every class is better than the last, and we are looking for colleagues who want to build that process with us.

Since opening our first branch in December 2020, A+PREP has grown at an average annual rate of +95% and expanded to two branches within five years, with our second branch opening in February 2026. Our students are among the highest-achieving in the Mokdong area, so our teachers think carefully about lesson preparation and communication to match that level.

We have two branches:

• Branch 1 — A+PREP English Academy: 2F, Hyundai World Tower, 77 Mokdong-seoro, Yangcheon-gu
• Branch 2 — A+PREP Language Academy: 5F, Trapalace Western Avenue, 962 Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu (Hiring NOW)

2. Vacancies

We are currently hiring for the following position:

• Teaching — Language Arts & Grammar (Elementary, Grades 3–4), Novel, Critical Thinking
• Elementary Language Arts & Grammar for 3rd–4th graders – Reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing, and foundational grammar – Conducted in English (English-immersion environment)
• Discussion classes based on English-language novels
• Critical Thinking & analysis of current/social issues – Academic essay writing and debate instruction

3. Responsibilities

• Plan and teach lessons for assigned subjects/levels
• Continuously research and improve lesson quality
• Work cooperatively with other teachers to support student growth
• Participate in regular team meetings and voluntary teacher seminars
• Classroom management and maintaining class focus
• (Note: No mandatory presentations at parent consultations or academy info sessions — teachers can focus on teaching)

4. Working Conditions

• Working hours: 2pm – 10pm, Monday–Friday
• 35 hours per week (including 1-hour break)
• 2-month probation period (80% of Salary)
• Classes are spread out (not overloaded) so teachers have time to prepare and recuperate

6. Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university or higher (any major)
• 3+ years of hagwon (private academy) teaching experience
• Able to read and teach original English texts

Preferred:

• Background from a special-purpose/autonomous high school, or CSAT regular-admission track
• Major in English / English Education
• Study-abroad experienced

• Those who focus only on their own classes
• Those who put themselves before the team and lack consideration for colleagues
• Those who prefer the status quo and insist on existing methods over change
