Job Description
ENgenius Club is an exciting STEM-focused English learning academy that follows the renowned US-based STEM education program, Engineering for Kids (EFK). We offer engaging STEM-related education curricula, ranging from hands-on building projects to Robotics/Coding programs in English, catering to Korean students aged 4-14. Our mission is to provide a fun and interactive learning environment where students can acquire English language skills, as well as knowledge in Science and Engineering through hands-on projects taught in English.
1. Role and Responsibilities
We are currently seeking passionate and innovative educators who can join us as a teacher to teach lower elementary students (Gr. 1-2) and long-term partners in growing the school and brand. We aim to serve kindergarteners to elementary school students, imparting knowledge and fostering their development.
As a teacher at ENgenius Club, you will be responsible for the following:
• Delivering lessons to kindergarten and elementary school students based on the provided curriculum and lesson plans.
• Researching and developing engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
• Preparing class materials before each session.
• Evaluating students' performance and planning accordingly.
• Maintaining effective communication with management and the Education Director regarding students' progress.
• Fulfilling other general requirements as needed.
2. Candidate Qualifications
All candidates must;
• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• F-visa holders
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Must be physically and mentally healthy.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Conversational proficiency in Korean
• Experience teaching kindergarten or elementary school students
• Experience in building/designing hands-on class projects.
• Background in science/engineering or education, or a strong interest in the field (preferred).
• Ability to commit to a long-term position and contribute to building the school and brand.
• Strong problem-solving skills, self-initiative, and a critical thinking mindset to implement creative lesson plans.
3. Working Conditions
• Student Type: Lower Elementary (Gr. 1-2)
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 12:00 - 8:00 P.M.
• Curriculum is made through teacher meetings. Teachers are expected to develop textbooks, workbooks etc.
• Teacher Training: Provided
• Teaching Staff: 3 Native English Teachers
Salary
2.6 million KRW and up (Negotiable)

• Airfare: One-way reimbursed for candidates outside of Korea
