JLS Gwacheon English Town is a public business center that is owned and managed by Gwacheon City with JLS. 

1. Role ad Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following: 

• Teaching Responsibilities
• Conducting lessons
• Creating in-class/extracurricular activities and games
• Grading tests and evaluating assignments
• Other duties and responsibilities written in the contract

2. Candidate Qualifications

All candidates must;

• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• F-visa holders
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Must be physically and mentally healthy.

3. Working Conditions

• Student Type: Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, High, Adult (Mostly Elementary Students)

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. (In reality, teachers come into work at 9:30 A.M.)

Saturday, 9:10 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.

*Teachers are expected to teach Saturday shifts 1 or 2 times a month after 3 months of teaching. 

• Lunch Break: 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. (In reality, teachers can take lunch breaks up to 1:30 P.M.) 

• Teaching Hours: 18 - 30 hours per week

• Teaching Details: 

Morning: Teaching thematic English lessons for school camps or tour classes for elementary and middle school camps that are short-term classes or teaching kindergarten classes (Constantly changes). 

Certain teachers are in charge of teaching the regular adult morning classes. 

Afternoon: Regular kindergarten or elementary school classes with JLS curriculum. 

• Curriculum and lesson plan provided. Prep time is provided in the morning.

Morning classes use a pre-made monthly-themed curriculum. 

Afternoon regular classes are taught from language education books provided by JLS.

• Teaching Staff: 6 Native English Teachers & 5 Bilingual Teachers.
