Roles and Responsibilities

Sisa Language Academy is seeking qualified and professional candidates to serve as an English teacher to middle school, high school, university and adult students. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and have experience working with adults and older students. A good teacher for this position would be flexible, organized, and has a positive attitude.

You will be responsible for the following: 

• Teaching age group: Adult (90%), High School & Middle School (10%)
• Education subject: Conversation, Discussion, Debate (Option: TOEFL, IELTS)
• Conduct small-group business English classes
• Teach conversation, discussion, and debate
• Attend weekly staff meetings and seminars

Candidate Qualifications

• Native English Speaker
• Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 
• Holds or is eligible for the E-2 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship
• Hold an F4 visa with USA, CAN, UK, AUS, NZ, IRE, or SA citizenship or Korean citizenship
• Apostilled Diploma and Criminal Background Check
• Must be physically and mentally healthy

Working Conditions

Working hours are described as the time you need to be present at the school.  Teaching hours are the active amount of time you will be conducting classes or activities. 

• Student Type: Adults, University, Middle School, High School
• Curriculum: Curriculum and lesson plans provided
• Working Hours: Split Shift, Monday - Friday, 9:30 A.M. - 12:20 P.M., & 5:30 P.M. - 9:50 P.M., Saturday, 9:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. 
• Teaching Hours: 35 hours per week
• Class Size: 10 students per class
• Teacher Training: Provided

• Teaching Staff: 2 native English teachers, & 13 Korean teachers
