We are committed to a student-centered approach to learning, helping students develop critical thinking skills, promoting independence in the classroom and at home, and mentoring not lecturing students. Requirements - someone who loves to learn, fun and energetic, with a positive mindset - 2 years teaching an American based curriculum - strong classroom management skills - excellent reading and writing skills, ability to analyze and think critically - F- 4, F-5 with a 3- 4 year university degree in liberal arts majors from Native English speaking countries - Native Koreans with English fluency are also welcomed - have paperwork ready to submit (Apostilled FBI background check, apostilled degree, etc) - computer literary (Microsoft Word, Power point, etc) Preferred but not required - Teaching Certification - English literature, humanity, psychology, early childhood education teaching experience is preferred - Tesol or TEFL certificate holders - Planning on staying in Korea for at least 2 years - Previous school teachers in English speaking countries - experience teaching younger children well a plus!
