As an English Teacher at Poly Gumi, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students ranging from kindergarten to elementary school. You will create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for the English language. Your role will involve planning and implementing engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall development of the school's educational programs. 1. Responsibilities Overview • Teach engaging and effective English lessons following POLY's North American curriculum and educational standards. • Utilize a structured, textbook-based approach to deliver lessons that emphasize academic rigor and intellectual growth. • Cater to higher-level students, challenging them to reach their full potential through advanced coursework and activities. • Participate in school events (POLY Speech Contest) and professional development opportunities (POLY Teachers' Workshops, POLY Teacher's Training Sessions, and Foreign Language Instructors' Seminar) • Regularly evaluate student progress through tests, quizzes, and other assessment tools, providing detailed feedback to support their academic development. • Maintain a disciplined and orderly classroom environment conducive to focused learning and academic excellence. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a cohesive and supportive teaching community. 2. Requirements • Native-level proficiency in English • Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement) • Eligible for or possesses an E-2 visa with citizenship from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa. • F visa or Korean citizenship holders • Apostilled documents (Diploma & Criminal Record Check) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational and time management abilities. • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success. • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and cultural contexts. 3. Working Conditions • Student Type: Kindergarten & Elementary • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 6:45 P.M. • Teaching Staff: 23 Total Teachers, 11 Native English Teachers
